Another project wrapped, and a new one started

More rainbow favors :) I decided to offer my art for the most recent EK fundraiser: 10 custom belt favors. I showed pictures of the rainbow favors and black and white diamonds that I had made previously as exemplars. I suspected that more rainbows would be a choice, and that's exactly what happened 3 Bi Pride (Pink, Purple, Blue) and the rest rainbow! All completed and will be handed off at Birka. Now I get to start designing and testing the pattern for Pride 2024. I'm definitely doing vertical stripes and think I will make them more narrow, so it will be easier to fit multiple years on a belt - also have a crazy vision of these looking something like the Orkney hood fringe *cackles maniacally*

Once I got these off the loom, I started a new tablet weaving project. My goal was to warp up the Bee Feet draft from Applesies and Fox Noses- with purple as my background and one row of yellow, then the inverse direction in green. Got the first half on, then decided my green made the whole vibe feel a little too Mardi Gras. So I took off the green half and started weaving. I warped about 4 yards, hoping for 3 yards when it's done after the take-up and waste. I feel like it's been going on for ever - and it has barely been 2 weeks with a major storm and holiday festivities. But I'm figuring out this tablet stuff and looking forward to my next project already!
