I hit the point in my A&S project that I was dreading: I had completed all the materials and I hated everything together!
The trim and strap are too busy and stark against the lozenge twill. I put it away for a few days before coming up with a new plan: I had leftover acorn weft yarn and the tiniest bit of indigo warp that I could turn into a new strap. I pulled out my books and looked for something simpler than knotwork and settled on a diamond pattern that had been found on a belt.
I warped it up, and within a few days had the length I needed and just twisted the fringe off last night. Now to seam up the bags and assemble everything!
